Logistics Purchasing Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Purchaser to join our team at Porsche Konstruktionen GmbH & Co KG in Salzburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic purchasing of logistics categories for up to 29 countries worldwide, primarily for new vehicle and parts logistics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic purchasing of logistics categories, including data analysis, tendering, negotiations, contract management, and vendor management
  • Proactive category management, particularly in developing and implementing strategies in purchasing and rolling them out in countries
  • Independent execution of central bundling projects and ongoing care and development of categories in an international team
  • Continuous development of the department's maturity level (state-of-the-art) and further digitalization of processes
  • Monitoring the environment (suppliers, departments, customers) to derive economically sound purchasing activities (e.g., bundling, innovation, expansion of business fields)

Requirements:

  • Economic degree (apprenticeship, HAK, study, etc.) with several years of experience in a comparable position
  • Skills in strategic purchasing (potential finding, process optimization, market, cost, and price data analysis, strategic negotiation, contract management)
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (presentations, negotiations, reporting, confident/convincing appearance, negotiation skills, etc.)
  • Team player, willingness to engage, innovative spirit, analytical work style, social competence
  • Engagement and independent, pragmatic work style
  • Organizational talent and experience in data and project management
  • Reliability and integrity
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint)
  • SAP Ariba skills are a plus
