Electrical Switching Technician

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Switching Technician (m/w/d) to join our team at EQOS Energie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our high-voltage power grid.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with control centers to plan and execute switching operations
• Perform switching operations in the 16.7 Hz frequency range
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the power grid infrastructure in collaboration with the grid operator
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure smooth operations and efficient maintenance
• Support the installation team with pre-installation activities on site

• We offer a fixed, unlimited-term employment contract and additional collective bonuses and allowances of approximately €2,000 gross per month (excluding overtime) for full-time employment without leave or sick days

Requirements

• You have completed a successful apprenticeship in the field of electrical engineering or a related field, or have at least 5 years of experience as a high-voltage technician
• You hold a valid driver's license (class B) and are willing to travel within Austria
• You have excellent German language skills (written and spoken) or are certified at level B1
• You are willing to undergo further training and development with us
