Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement firmware and software for aerosol and particle measurement devices, utilizing microcontrollers, embedded Linux, FPGA, and CoM/SoM.
  • Collaborate with product management and the development team to manage software requirements throughout the product life cycle.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, and device tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Maintain and expand the DevOps system and release management processes.
  • Continuously improve software quality and security through best practices and design patterns.
YOUR PROFILE:

Requirements:

  • Completed technical studies in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in firmware and software development.
  • Strong knowledge of C and C++ languages, as well as embedded Linux development (Yocto knowledge an advantage).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Artifactory, Xray, and SonarCube is desirable.
  • Several years of experience in developing mechatronic systems and measuring devices, with knowledge of electronics desirable.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, including software design patterns and best practices.
  • Good knowledge of German and English.

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
