Recycling Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Recycling Operations Professional to join our team at RHI Magnesita. As a key member of our Recycling Operations Europe team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our plants in RHIM with their recycling activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement recycling strategies to optimize material sourcing and supply chain management.
- Collaborate with R&D to identify new recycling opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Work closely with plant colleagues to ensure seamless recycling operations and quality control.
- Travel up to 30% of working time to our production sites to support recycling activities.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures to ensure reliable recycling material quality.
- Report recycling KPIs for our production plants and map recycling processes for existing and integrated plants.
- Support the recycling budget process and identify areas for cost optimization.
We are looking for a strong communicator with a collaborative attitude and a creative mindset. You should be able to work well in cross-functional teams, take responsibility, and make decisions. Your hands-on mentality, structured approach, and analytical skills will enable you to proactively seek improvements and drive change.
You should have a master's degree in mining, refractory, or environmental engineering, with basic refractory industry knowledge and proficiency in English and German. A couple of years of relevant working experience is also required.
