Role Overview
We are in search of a Team Leader for our expanding SAP HCM AMS division based in Europe. This role entails overseeing Application Management Services for Magna's comprehensive SAP HCM framework across Europe. Currently, this framework is transitioning to HCM for S4HANA within a Private Cloud, presenting numerous opportunities and transformations. The ideal candidate should possess experience in team leadership or be prepared to advance in their career. This position demands strong communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and a profound understanding of SAP (HCM) processes. Responsibilities will also encompass Change Management and collaboration with external consultants to bolster the internal team.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage the SAP HCM team, ensuring effective AMS for the European sector.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including business users, process owners, and IT teams, to grasp requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Serve as a key player in the change management process, facilitating and supporting the execution of modifications within the SAP HCM environment.
- Coordinate with external partners who assist the internal SAP HCM team, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the team, nurturing a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Oversee and prioritize workloads, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and requests.
- Comprehend complex technical challenges related to SAP HCM, adopting a hands-on approach when necessary.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and spearhead initiatives to improve system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and analysts, to implement system modifications and successfully deliver projects.
- Encourage knowledge sharing within the team and conduct training sessions as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Preferably, experience as a Team Leader or Manager in an SAP HCM context, focusing on AMS.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP HCM modules and functionalities.
- Strong grasp of European HR processes and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written).
- Proficient in German (verbal and written).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges and offer practical solutions.
- Leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Hands-on experience with SAP system configuration, customization, and testing.

The annual compensation package for this role starts at a minimum of EUR 85,000, with performance-related adjustments. We offer appealing benefits, including a discretionary performance bonus and employee profit-sharing programs, along with a salary that aligns with market standards based on your skills and experience.
Regular travel is expected, approximately 10-15% of the time.
