We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Engineer to join our team at Entain Services Austria GmbH.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge software solutions, driving technical innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular to design and implement scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with the enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment with company standards and best practices.
- Develop and contribute to architectural principles, methodologies, and standards for various IT groups.
- Manage security risks and ensure the integration of security measures into delivered solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, recommending their adoption when appropriate.
- Participate in design review processes, offering constructive criticism and feedback.
- Prioritize work that enhances predictability, quality, and delivery throughput.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, and proficiency in navigating the event loop.
- Advanced knowledge of Angular and its design principles, familiarity with React and Vue.
- Proficient with Angular CLI, Nx, and modern build tooling for efficient development workflows.
- Solid understanding of .NET framework, .NET Core, and C# programming, adept at multiple programming languages and paradigms.
- Experience and good understanding of async and parallel programming, synchronization primitives, async/await, tasks cancellation, synchronization context.
- Good understanding of memory management and performance optimization.
- Proficient in Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of system design, ensuring data consistency, and fault tolerance in the browser.
- Expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies.
- Proficient in performance profiling and optimization techniques: web vitals, lazy loads, build size reduction, API latency optimization, HTTP2 usage, GraphQL.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and advanced architectural patterns.
