We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our team at Dynatrace. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, user-friendly documentation that showcases our product's capabilities and features.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain technical documentation for our product, including user guides, release notes, and API documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and design, to ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create technical content that is clear, concise, and easy to understand.
- Develop and implement documentation strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in documentation and develop plans to address these areas.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical documentation and apply this knowledge to improve our documentation.
- Provide training and support to other team members on documentation best practices and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on creating user documentation for software products.
- Experience in editing and revising content to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with documentation tools, such as MadCap Flare, Confluence, or similar.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Master's degree in a technical field or a related field.
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
