About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Zollabteilungsleiter to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all Zoll-related processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Zoll-related activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customs documents
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on Zoll-related matters, including customs procedures and regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Zoll efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including logistics and operations teams, to ensure seamless Zoll operations
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Zoll regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Zoll-related roles, with 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of Zoll procedures and regulations, including the EU-Zollkodex
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
