Our thesis opportunity focuses on creating a digital twin for EV batteries, allowing for data collection from all phases of their life cycle.
About the ProjectThis project aims to develop a digital twin that can collect, process, and represent data from a sub-group of systems interacting with EV batteries, based on the Eclipse Arrowhead infrastructure. You will analyze data structures of these systems and implement the digital twin using Python programming skills.
A successful candidate will have:
- Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Telematics, or Physics
- Good programming skills in Python
- Knowledge of modern software and runtime architectures (Containers, SOAP, REST)
- Knowledge of data structures and translations
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., USP/TCP, COAP) and their implementation with Python modules
The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of German and English, as well as strong communication skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our experienced employees, exchange ideas with experts, and gain practical experience in a real-world setting.
