Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to join our team at REWE International IT. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex architecture decisions, establish standards and guidelines, and align the application landscape with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and Documentation: Conduct thorough analysis of existing system landscapes, including applications, infrastructure, data flow, and other relevant components.
  • Domain Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the retail domain and its complexities.
  • Architecture Decisions: Moderate and coordinate various architecture decisions to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Standards and Guidelines: Establish and maintain standards and guidelines for micro- and macro-architecture.
  • Application Landscape Alignment: Constantly align the application landscape with domains, capabilities, and product portfolios.
  • Governance and Strategy: Govern the IT architecture and prepare strategic decisions for C-level management, such as cloud-first strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience: Several years of professional experience in a comparable environment and with Enterprise Architect Management methods and frameworks.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Experience with modeling in ArchiMate or working in EAM tools like ADOIT or LUY (formerly iteraplan), transformation of legacy applications, holistic and strategic mindset, ability to abstract, strong communication and negotiation skills, and broad technical know-how.
