Senior System Architect Opportunity at B&R Automation

As a Senior System Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and architecting cohesive software and system ecosystems that integrate industrial real-time equipment and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect software and system ecosystems that meet diverse user needs.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure seamless integration of components and enhance overall user experience.
  • Define and enforce best practices in software architecture, firmware development, and system architecture to ensure non-functional requirements are met.
  • Utilize scaled agile methodologies to facilitate efficient team working environments and timely delivery of integrated solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, ensuring the software ecosystem meets diverse needs.
  • Lead technology decision-making processes and drive continuous innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15-20 years of experience in software architecture, system design, system architecture, embedded software development, and industrial automation.
  • Proven ability to integrate complex software products into cohesive ecosystems, with a focus on user experience and performance optimization.
  • Strong background in industrial automation, machine building, or manufacturing industry, with hands-on technical experience in developing required system/software architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
