Accounting Leadership Position for Financial Expert

Are you a seasoned accounting professional looking to take on a leadership role?

DO & CO - Aktiengesellschaft is seeking a highly skilled Group Accounting Team Lead to join our team in the Headquarter. In this position, you will lead and develop our Group Accounting team, prepare consolidated financial statements, coordinate communication with external and internal stakeholders, and drive IFRS compliance and process optimization.

About the Role

  • Lead our dynamic Group Accounting team and ensure the preparation of high-quality consolidated financial statements according to IFRS guidelines;
  • Coordinate communication with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and consultants, as well as internal stakeholders, such as the Management Board and local finance teams;
  • Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to improve the efficiency of our financial reporting processes;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success;

We are looking for a motivated and experienced accounting professional who can hit the ground running. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in business studies, preferably with a focus on accounting;
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in comparable positions, with a strong understanding of IFRS guidelines;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective solutions;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience working with Hyperion Financial Management would be an asset.
