DO & CO is committed to delivering exceptional catering experiences for iconic sporting events worldwide. As a leading provider of gourmet menus and seamless service, we're seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Coordinator to join our global events team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives that minimize waste and promote environmentally responsible practices at our events. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring waste management plans are aligned with internal departments
  • Providing expertise in planning waste management, estimating quantities, and scheduling waste collection and disposal
  • Coodinating waste management with stakeholders to ensure proper disposal and recycling of event waste
  • Educating event staff and attendees on waste management practices
  • Auditing, monitoring, and reporting on resource usage to ensure compliance with sustainability goals

You'll also be responsible for communicating sustainability goals and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, fostering partnerships with local communities, organizations, and suppliers to support sustainability efforts, and ensuring all events comply with local, national, and international sustainability standards.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Bioresources management, Sustainability, or a related field, proven experience in sustainability coordination, preferably in the events industry, strong knowledge of resource efficiency and waste management practices, fluency in German and English, and professional certifications in sustainability.
