Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies AG. As a key member of our technology development team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and evaluating process experiments for new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and perform process experiments for new technologies, including design of experiments (DoE's)
- Take responsibility for the definition of required unit processes for the technologies, including process stability assessments
- Jointly develop technologies with partner front-end sites in Malaysia
- Proactively collaborate with R&D partners in all divisions, frontend & backend, unit process development, and integration
- Take responsibility for the entire process chain (process of records) from the bare substrate until the diced and measured device
- Develop and characterize new process control structures and test structures for electrical measurements to ensure a stable production
- Coordinate physical/chemical/electrical analyses to gain a deeper understanding of potential failure modes within the technology
Requirements:
- A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Electrochemistry, or comparable
- Several years of working experience in the semiconductor industry (ideally R&D background, Si and SiC expertise preferred)
- A solid technical background and expertise on semiconductor technologies (frontend or backend processing and integration)
- Practical experience in performing electrical measurements with power device analyzer/curve tracer and wafer probe stations
- Good programming skills (LabView, Python, MatLab, etc.), and experience in project management are a plus
- Fluent English skills
- German skills are a plus
