About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our team in Eggelsberg, Salzburg, Schärding, Vöcklabruck, or Linz. As a key member of our interdisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for developing solution proposals from the concept phase to series production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing solution proposals within an interdisciplinary project team
  • Working on the conceptual design and implementation of embedded software
  • Implementing the latest fieldbus technologies for servo drives
  • Co-designing and developing embedded systems for the new servo drive generation
  • Creating functional simulations, verifications, and documentation
  • Testing and commissioning hardware prototypes
  • Using existing tools for version management and continuous integration
Requirements
  • Completed studies in software development, computer science, or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in FPGA design, verification, and timing analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of embedded programming
  • Excellent programming skills in C and VHDL
  • Good German or English-language skills
  • Analytical and solution-oriented reasoning
  • Outgoing personality with a high degree of organizational and teamwork skills
  • Independent and structured way of working, high self-motivation, as well as team and communication skills
