Join our team of experts in data engineering and configuration at Vienna Insurance Group. We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to focus on configuration and contribute to the development of our established database solutions in cooperation with our internal IT department.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Customising and maintaining our database solutions to meet the changing needs of our business
  • Developing and refining our reporting solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Managing and validating data to ensure it meets our high standards
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimise processes and ensure effective use of data

Key skills and qualifications:

  • University degree in data science, economics, finance, mathematics or a similar field
  • Proficiency in analytical software such as Excel, R, Power BI or similar tools
  • Experience with database solutions (SAP, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) is an advantage but not an exclusion criterion
  • Initial experience with programming (VBA, Powershell, Python, etc.) is an advantage, as smaller programming tasks are regularly required
