We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our team at Dedalus HealthCare Ges.m.b.H. in Vienna. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for analyzing and solving complex product issues, creating custom solutions, and collaborating with our development and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep Technical Investigation: Analyze and solve highly complex product issues that have been escalated from support team, often requiring an in-depth understanding of the product's architecture and source code.
  • Custom Solutions: Create custom solutions or workarounds for problems that cannot be solved through standard support procedures, often involving advanced coding or system modifications.
  • Collaboration with R&D Team Members: Work closely with development and engineering teams to communicate product issues and feedback that require their attention, potentially influencing future product development.
  • Customer Liaison: Directly liaise with key customers, particularly for bespoke or highly technical products, to provide personalized high-level technical support and to build strong customer relationships.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Document complex issues and their resolutions to expand the knowledge base for use by other support tiers, as well as training lower-level support staff on technical issues.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science OR corresponding professional experience, ideally paired with medical knowledge.
  • Java, Java EE, REST API, SQL.
  • HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Curiosity for new technologies, frameworks, and up-to-date methodologies in software development.
  • Decent English and German skills.

The minimum salary for this position is 45,000 € gross per year (38.5 working hours) according to the IT-collective agreement, an overpayment plus bonus arrangement depending on qualification/experience is self-evident for us.
