Job Summary

Lam Research is seeking a skilled Software Systems Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Systems Developer, you will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including testing, analysis, and maintenance of the software system. You will participate in the SW deployment process, ensuring qualified software products are successfully installed at our customer's facilities.

You will perform troubleshooting of system software-related issues, provide in-house and onsite support of customer install base, and resolve customer issues. Additionally, you will test, troubleshoot, and propagate errors clearly to SW and HW Development Engineers.

You will also set up and maintain tool simulators, testing environments, and lab support to reproduce issues found in the field and verify software solutions. Furthermore, you will understand customer technology and productivity needs and feed back those requirements into software development.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Techincal education in Soft- and Hardware - minimum HTL / technical high school – electrical engineering, software engineering, or similar
  • Excellent computer, troubleshooting, and statistical process control skills
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
  • Good knowledge of operating system principles and basic hardware capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience would be an asset, but not a requirement
  • Ability to establish successful relationships in a multicultural environment with external and internal customers
  • Structured working style (attention to details) high degree of initiative, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
