Cloud Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our Azure Data Engineering team at Microsoft. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities- Design and Develop Cloud-Based Systems: You will design and develop cloud-based systems that are scalable, reliable, and secure. This will involve working with our engineering teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement them using cloud technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Functions.
- Ensure System Reliability and Performance: You will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud-based systems are reliable, performant, and meet the needs of our customers. This will involve monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with our engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our cloud-based systems meet the needs of our customers. This will involve participating in design reviews, code reviews, and regular meetings with our engineering teams.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends, advances in cloud technologies, and new tools and processes for maintaining and improving system reliability and performance.
- Technical Experience: You will have multi-year technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, systems administration, or a related field.
- Cloud Experience: You will have deep knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Programming Skills: You will have strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
