Global Operations Leader for Pumps Division

At ANDRITZ, we offer innovative and customized solutions in the field of pumps and complete pumping stations for various industries such as water and wastewater, pulp and paper, food applications, power generation, and many more.

The division's main production sites are located in Austria, China, India, and Brazil. Our units at these sites are managed by a site manager, who is also responsible for the sales regions associated with the site. In addition to local responsibility, there are global responsibilities for Sales, Industry Management, Technology, and Operations.

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Global Pumps Operations team. As Head of Global Pumps Operations:

  1. You will be a member of the Pump Management Board with full responsibility for Global Operations of the Pumps Division.
  2. You will further develop the international supply-chain, including inventory management, make-or-buy decisions, localization vs. centralization of production.
  3. You will optimize pump productions in Austria, China, India, and Brazil.
  4. You will develop new production facilities.
  5. You will integrate production facilities from acquisitions.
  6. You will make investment and staff decisions for production.
  7. You will reorganize current business processes and operational structures.

As Pumps Location Manager Graz:

  1. You will have P&L responsibility for a significant part of the Pumps division.
  2. You will have disciplinary responsibility for approx. 200 employees.
  3. You will plan resources and staffing.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. A technical university degree or equivalent education.
  2. Experience in the pump industry, preferably centrifugal pumps.
  3. A strong focus on global operations, including globally distributed manufacturing, inventory management, supply chain management, active cost management, lean methods, and quality management.
  4. Experience in leading a global team of highly professional colleagues.
  5. Experience with P&L responsibility of an operational unit, including international sales, service, and production desirable.
  6. A solid track record of success with a drive for even more success.
  7. Excellent German and English language skills.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €97,900 per year, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
