We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist for Logistics to join our team at Porsche Konstruktionen GmbH & Co KG in Salzburg, Austria.

About the Role

As a Strategic Procurement Specialist for Logistics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for logistics categories across multiple countries. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for logistics categories, including data analysis, market research, and supplier evaluation
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on logistics and international trade
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies, resulting in cost savings and process improvements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
