Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Coordinator CEE to join our team at REWE BILLA CEE / Penny Int. in CEE. As an Accounting Coordinator CEE, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of accounting group requirements and participating in projects such as SAP S/4HANA and EU Taxonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support in Accounting Group Requirements: Assist in the implementation of accounting group requirements and participate in projects to ensure seamless execution.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements according to IFRS standards.
  • International Collaboration: Close cooperation with different company areas and participation in international meetings and support during country visits.
  • Solution Development: Develop solution concepts for required support based on business unit requirements and design accounting workflows.
  • Information Hub: Serve as an information hub and coordination point between all involved strategic business units regarding accounting and other finance processes in the international area.
  • Proactive Driver: Proactively drive current topics and develop accounting policies and work instructions to implement and enforce internal controls.
Requirements
  • MS Excel Skills: Very good MS Excel skills are required, with good knowledge of SAP and other accounting systems being an advantage.
  • Language Skills: Very good English language skills are required, with German and other language skills being an advantage.
  • IFRS 16 Knowledge: Knowledge of IFRS 16 is required.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel outside of Austria is required.
  • Team Player: A team player with open-mindedness and intercultural skills, strong communication skills, and assertiveness is required.
  • Solution-Oriented: A solution-oriented and independent work approach with high service orientation and organizational skills is required.
  • Commitment: Commitment and high motivation to familiarize yourself with new topics are required.
