About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our global team of data experts at RHI Magnesita. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing comprehensive analytics solutions that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data extraction and ingestion processes to support business decisions
  • Develop and optimize data transformation processes to improve performance and scalability
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data from SAP S/4 HANA systems and cloud-based technologies
  • Employ agile techniques and Scrum methodology to manage projects efficiently
  • Ensure best practices and compliance with data governance and security policies
Requirements
  • Higher education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • Profound knowledge of SAP / SAP S/4 HANA data structures and data extraction methods
  • Proficiency in programming languages used in data transformation, particularly SQL
  • Experience with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake and Databricks
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
