Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Java 21 to join our Payments Infrastructure team. As a senior developer, you will design and develop scalable services, collaborating with other engineers and mentoring junior developers.

  • Design and develop resilient, message-driven services using Java 21.
  • Collaborate with many other engineers and teams within Bitpanda.
  • Be a technical mentor for junior developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will have advanced knowledge of software development using modern Java frameworks like Spring Boot and Micronaut, along with experience in Java 21+. Your expertise will drive our expansion throughout Europe, enabling us to create innovative products and services. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of software solutions in a microservices architecture.
