Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Back End Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Vienna. As a key member of our team, you will design, build, and deliver a wide range of features to our platform on each cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design a scalable, performant, and secure application architecture exposed through a REST API
  • Build a large-scale multi-cloud web application leveraging the latest technologies backed by multiple microservices
  • Develop and integrate a wide range of functionalities leveraging existing platforms (Open Banking, Digital Signatures, OCR, predictive analytics, etc.)
  • Extend our automated testing and configuration suite
  • Support and share knowledge with your team members and shape our engineering culture
  • Integrate our backend with AI components
Requirements

We are looking for a software engineer who is passionate about technology and loves to build new things.

  • 3-5 years of total professional experience as a software engineer
  • 3-5 years of web development experience in Python using Django or other frameworks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with packaging and deploying Python applications using DevOps tools like Docker
  • Experience designing and maintaining SQL and NoSQL data stores (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.)
Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or similar field
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management
  • Experience in cyber security projects
  • Experience in financial services
