Job Description

Key Responsibilities


  • Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Management: Prepare and manage P&IDs throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Package Unit Integration: Review and integrate P&IDs for package units to guarantee smooth project execution.
  • Technical Excellence: Align and verify layout and piping engineering deliverables to maintain technical excellence.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and manage equipment lists, line lists, tie-in lists, and other essential documentation.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Take responsibility for coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.


Requirements


  • Qualification: Degree level qualification in a process or mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as P&ID engineer, experience within the Oil & Gas industry is desired.
  • Skills:

    • Ability to produce standard, uncomplicated drawings from rough sketches, or diagrams from detailed sketches.
    • Proficiency in operating design software (AutoCAD, Plant3D AVEVA Diagrams, SmartPlant P&ID) is desired, knowledge in COMOS is a plus.
    • Competence in multitasking and managing several projects at a time.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    • Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from Project Managers and Engineers.


  • Language: Fluent English skills, whereby German skills are a plus and another European language is an advantage.
