Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Logistics Manager to lead our warehouse operations and logistics processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of around 50 employees and implementing logistics standards and process requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disciplinary and Technical Management: Manage and motivate a team of around 50 employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Logistics Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize complex warehouse processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Project Management: Lead and support the implementation of logistics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the management of warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control, and shipping and receiving.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on discipline and technical management.
  • Logistics Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
