Job Description

As a Senior .NET Engineer at Dynatrace, you will be part of a fantastic team passionate about development, high performance, and understanding how things work at a low level. You will contribute to the development of our platform, which combines broad and deep observability and continuous runtime application security with advanced AIOps to provide answers and intelligent automation from data.


You will analyze and gain an understanding of the inner workings of common frameworks through debugging and interrogation. Your expertise will help us stay ahead in the field of IL code execution and GC. You will also be responsible for intensive cooperation with local and international development teams, design, and implementation of new features (Feature Ownership), and enjoy developing high-performant algorithms and working with latest technologies.


You will be expected to have several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with C#/.NET (priority) and C++ experience (intermediate level). Additionally, you should have sound knowledge of C#, including core packages, and understand how the .NET runtime works.


Apart from technical skills, we value strong teamwork and communication skills, ability to focus on details but keep the mind open for the whole ecosystem, and exhibit motivation in asking questions and confidence in discussing ideas.



Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:



  • Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with C#/.NET (priority) and C++ experience (intermediate level)
  • Sound knowledge of C# including core packages
  • Understanding of the .NET runtime
  • Ability to develop high-performant algorithms
  • Familiarity with CorProfiler interface, BenchmarkDotNet, and ILSpy
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
