As a Financial Management and Controlling Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Cost Controlling department within Group Finance.

About the Role

This role is focused on providing finance business partnership for Erste Group and its subsidiaries regarding cost development and outsourcing issues. The department acts as a strategic partner, working closely with management and business partners to develop joint cost targets aligned with the company's strategic guidelines.

The HR Controlling team is responsible for personnel cost planning, regular reporting, KPI creation and monitoring. Your tasks will include:

  • Planning and forecasting of personnel costs in coordination with the Group strategy
  • KPI setting and monitoring, supporting the business units in achieving (HR) cost targets
  • Regular reporting of personnel cost development to top management and participation in strategically relevant projects
  • Analysis of the current cost structure, identification of cost potentials and ongoing exchange with the relevant stakeholders
  • Continuous development of HR controlling steering methods as well as related reporting (i.e. visualization & automation)
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will require a completed university degree with a focus on controlling, human resources, business administration or business law, along with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in HR controlling or payroll accounting. Experience in the banking sector is ideal.

You should possess analytical skills, ability to work in a team, commitment and enjoy communicating with different stakeholders. Very good communication skills in English are essential, while German would be an advantage.
