Key Responsibilities
- Performance optimization is vital to our success - investigate various strategies to fine-tune our product for optimal performance.
- As a member of the Cluster Performance Engineering Team, you will concentrate on performance analysis and enhancements of the Dynatrace Platform, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in collaboration with development teams.
- You will contribute to non-functional requirements, enhancing the scalability and resilience of the Dynatrace Platform.
- You will ensure comprehensive end-to-end performance testing coverage.
- Collaborate with our Site Reliability Engineering colleagues on in-depth analysis of production issues and continuously enhance our automation framework for performance and load testing.
Qualifications
- Technical education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in Java backend development and Linux system engineering with a cloud-native approach.
- Familiarity with some of the following technologies is advantageous: Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, Gatling, Jenkins.
- Basic understanding of load testing, performance diagnostics, and Java profiling is a plus. Knowledge of object churn and heap dump analysis is preferred.
- A strong enthusiasm for performance optimization.

Compensation and rewards

- Due to legal requirements, we must disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 45,500 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
