Sourcing Expert for Auxiliary Systems

We are seeking a seasoned Sourcing Specialist to join our Direct Materials Procurement Team at INNIO. This key role will be responsible for managing procurement activities for genset auxiliary systems, collaborating closely with strategic buyers to prepare and execute requests for proposals, and refining contract templates.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supplier-related contractual documents, including the management of contractual data.
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of Supplier Improvement Plans in response to poor supplier performance.
  • Conduct thorough research on potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, pricing, and reputation.
  • Support purchasing initiatives by forecasting market trends, tracking Cost Savings Plans, and contributing to Supply Chain Resilience Projects.
  • Maintain accurate supplier master data in the system and resolve open invoices related to price variances.

You will serve as a primary point of contact for our suppliers and internal partners, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in economics or a technical field (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical, electrical, or process engineering). Your excellent technical aptitude, combined with professional experience in purchasing or a support/specialist function in the supply chain, is essential.

In addition to strong organizational skills and project management expertise, you should be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate a structured approach, and continuously seek opportunities to improve existing processes.
