Join AVL List GmbH as a Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Steyr. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of highly specialized AVL measuring devices and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and implementation of service assignments for customers
  • Maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of measuring devices and systems, particularly exhaust gas measuring systems and particle measuring devices
  • Interface with the AVL service hotline and development team
  • Creation of protocols, service reports, and quality documents
  • Advising customers on operation and application
Requirements:
  • Completed training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the maintenance, production, or calibration of measuring devices/systems
  • Experience in the automotive sector is an advantage
  • High level of problem-solving skills
  • Confident and friendly demeanor
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to work in a team
  • Very good knowledge of German is required, good knowledge of English is an advantage
