Job Title: Public Affairs Manager

Foodora, a leading food delivery platform, is seeking a skilled Public Affairs Manager to lead our policy efforts in Austria, Czech Republic, and Hungary. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement public affairs strategies, engage with key decision-makers, and influence regulatory environments to drive business growth.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public affairs strategies to drive business growth and influence regulatory environments.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and community leaders.
  • Stay up-to-date on market dynamics and political developments, and communicate high-level insights to the team.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and collaborate with internal teams to address issues before they escalate.
  • Work closely with external agencies to ensure effective legislation monitoring and successful policy initiatives.
  • Seek collaboration opportunities and foster strategic partnerships that advance our business and policy objectives.
  • Regularly report key issues and updates to the regional team and other internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Politics, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in public policy, government affairs, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with digital platforms, e-commerce, or agency environments is highly valued.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent prioritization, structured thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Self-driven, independent, and able to take initiative.
  • Energetic and driven to make an impact in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
  • Proficiency in English (other languages are a plus, depending on location).
