Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the reliability and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement reliable and scalable application platforms for Raiffeisen Bausparkasse services
  • Develop self-service capabilities for development teams to rapidly provision application environments
  • Ensure that developers can use DevOps practices to maintain user-facing products without divergence in practice across the business
  • Automate manual and repetitive IT operations tasks to improve efficiency
  • Implement observability tools to help understand and monitor the internal state of the system and our services
  • Develop and maintain tools that support development teams to deliver quality software faster (e.g., CD pipelines, monitoring, logging)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of DevOps processes and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, TeamCity, Quick Build, Maven, Gradle)
  • Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Good knowledge of Linux or UNIX based system architecture
  • Familiarity with containers and containers orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift is a big plus
  • Experience with monitoring and monitoring technologies (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch)
