Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our meteorological operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our weather satellites.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of our weather satellites, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and dissemination.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and reliability of our weather and climate data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of satellite operations with other agency functions.
- Provide expert guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in meteorological operations, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of weather satellites and data collection systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
