Senior Renewable Energy Lawyer

We are recruiting a highly motivated and driven Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Vienna. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal counsel across various facets of renewable energy projects.

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic legal counsel across various facets of renewable energy projects, including onshore PV and wind development, M&A transactions, and contract negotiations. This will involve:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
- Delivering corporate legal services
- Advising on real estate matters
- Acting as the primary legal contact for operational business inquiries
You will also provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on matters related to renewable energy project development, financing, and operations. Additionally, you will assist in due diligence processes for project acquisitions, financings, and other transactions.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you will need:
- A law degree from an Austrian university (Mag. iur.)
- Admission to the bar in Austria or eligibility for admission
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate, contract law
- A strong understanding of renewable energy project development, finance, and regulatory frameworks
In addition, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
