About the Role

The role of a Systems Immunologist at Merantix involves designing and performing target discovery and validation experiments to develop the next generation of immune and inflammatory (I&I) drugs. This position requires a Ph.D. degree with a focus on systems immunology, cell/molecular biology, or a related field. Proficiency with cell line engineering and standard molecular biology techniques, as well as experience with systems biology approaches, are essential. The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a proven track record of translating research into practice.

The base of operations, and main R&D, will be in the Vienna area. In keeping with Austrian legal requirements, a minimum gross yearly salary of 60,000€ is advertised for this position. However, the actual salary will be higher, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
