Clinical Oncology Specialist

The Clinical Oncology Specialist will provide essential consultation, clinical assessment, and treatment services for cancer patients and their families under the guidance of an experienced team.
This role is part of an interdisciplinary team providing holistic, patient-centered care throughout the cancer journey. The Specialist will offer psychosocial oncology and supportive care education to patients, staff, and community groups as required.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Nursing, or related field, along with licensure in the relevant provincial licensing body. A minimum of three years' experience in clinical practice, preferably in a healthcare setting, is also necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook is required, as well as excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain good physical and mental health to perform duties regularly is essential.
Benefits and Requirements
- A competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license and liability insurance are required.
- Possession of both official languages (English and French) is preferred for this bilingual position.
