As a Business Intelligence Intern, you'll play a vital role in helping Erste Group build a more data-driven HR organization across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) countries.

This internship focuses on equipping you with the necessary skills to build a data-driven HR organization. Your tasks will involve collaborating with teams in agile-organized environments.

Your Tasks
  • Create data extraction and transformation workflows using KNIME from systems of records (SAP SuccessFactors and SAP/HCM).
  • Analyze data inconsistencies, automate data quality indicators, and collaborate with data stewards in each country.
  • Develop and update KPI dashboards in Tableau with input from department heads.
  • Collaborate with HR Reporting teams and Data Quality Management teams in all Erste Group countries.
  • Work on a Databricks environment, orchestrating SQL/Python workflows and building data models.
Your Background
  • Currently enrolled at a University/University of Applied Sciences with a technical or business economic focus.
  • Experience with data analysis tools, programming languages, and/or databases: Python, R, Knime, Tableau, Impala, ELK Stack, Hadoop, etc.
  • A team player who builds up and maintains good relationships with colleagues across different divisions and disciplines.
  • Fluency in English for business purposes.
