About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Sales Associate to join our team at METRO/MAKRO in Vienna-Simmering. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers on our wide range of food products
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions
  • Ensure a clean and organized store environment, including maintaining product displays and shelves
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food retail industry is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
