Customer Lifecycle Servicing Team Lead Opportunity

Erste Group Bank AG, a leading banking group in Central and Eastern Europe, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead its Customer Lifecycle Servicing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 10 colleagues, developing a desk strategy aligned with the division and bank strategies, and ensuring high-quality performance.

  • Functional responsibility for a team of approximately 10 colleagues, including roles, responsibilities, and task delegation.
  • Develop and implement a desk strategy closely aligned with the division and bank strategies, as well as key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure high-quality performance within the team and provide consistent reporting on KPIs.
  • Represent the desk to senior stakeholders across all sales segments, including compliance, risk, IT, and more.
  • Implement a pragmatic approach to achieving goals, with a focus on process improvements and technology utilization.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring the desk's compliance and quality standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in the banking industry, with a strong background in process improvement, operations, and/or compliance.
  • Leadership experience is an advantage, but not required.
  • Exceptional knowledge of compliance and legal requirements, particularly related to KYC, and a solid understanding of how a bank operates.
  • Excellent customer orientation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels in an intercultural and diverse environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology trends and identify practical improvements to implement.
  • Be structured, organized, and able to present complex topics in an understandable and persuasive manner to various stakeholders.
  • Self-accountable, solution-oriented, and hands-on, with a positive, entrepreneurial, and agile spirit, and the willingness to accept challenges.

  • The minimum gross salary for this full-time position, based on the collective agreement, is EUR 48,323.-- per year. However, we would be happy to discuss your actual salary in person.
