Senior Auditor Job Description

Allianz Holding Eins is a leading financial services company in Central & Eastern Europe, responsible for strategic development, planning, and leadership in the region.

The region covers 11 countries, including Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine.

Purpose of the Position:

The Senior Auditor will lead and execute audits on Allianz Holding Eins processes, focusing on 70% of the time. Additionally, they will support the steering and monitoring of the Region through involvement in audit functional enablement activities, accounting for 30% of the time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute audits on Allianz Holding Eins processes
  • Prepare and deliver draft and final audit reports
  • Close audits on TM+
  • Follow up on audit findings
  • Identify business risks and deficiencies in the internal control environment
  • Formulate proposals for solutions
  • Manage communication with stakeholders from all hierarchy levels
  • Act as a business partner in a multicultural environment
  • Support the development of Regional audit methods and processes
  • Participate in Regional reporting, monitoring, and quality assurance
Requirements and Skills
  • More than 5 years' experience in internal controls and auditing
  • University degree
  • Excellent usage of Microsoft suite
  • Knowledge of the insurance business
  • Data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactivity in identifying shortcomings and proposing solutions
  • Project management skills
  • Fluent English spoken and written
  • Excellent knowledge of TeamMate+
  • Certifications (CIA, QAR) are a plus
