About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated processes to ensure quality and risk assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated processes for quality and risk assurance, including camera systems, dimensional and functional checks.
• Maintain and further develop the automation standard in collaboration with the team leader.
• Industrialize prototype processes and transfer them to series production.
• Develop automated production cells and processes, and create specifications for production systems.
• Identify, analyze, and optimize process and technology weaknesses in automation and process development.

Requirements

• Engineering degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or plastics technology.
• Several years of professional experience in automation technology, preferably in the plastics processing industry.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and basic knowledge of network technology and programming.
• Excellent German and English language skills, conceptual strength, and project management experience.
