At Infineon, we're looking for a skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Klagenfurt. As a member of our CYBER team, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to keep our organization secure and our operations resilient.

About the Job

We're seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in security management, automation, and development. Your primary focus will be on conducting vulnerability assessments and security evaluations, developing automation solutions for security processes, and supporting developers in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security evaluations
  • Develop automation solutions for security processes
  • SUPPORT developers in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities
  • Ensure database security and network security
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure security and providing training and documentation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree (Bachelor/Master) in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in vulnerability assessments, code review, and application security
  • Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, software development, and MVC/MVT frameworks (e.g., Angular, Django)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 security risks and remediation techniques
  • Understanding of network protocols, security principles, and containerization (Docker, OpenShift)
Preferred Skills

In addition to the above requirements, having experience working with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, OpenVAS), knowledge of cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and security monitoring techniques, and experience in risk-based vulnerability management and remediation tracking would be beneficial.
