Job Title: Pastry Chef

We are seeking a motivated Pastry Chef to join our team of culinary experts at a renowned 5-star hotel in Salzburg, Austria.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality desserts and pastries for à la carte service and buffets
  • Oversee the production and presentation of desserts, cakes, and sweets for all food and beverage outlets
  • Ensure the quality of ingredients and supplies by implementing effective inventory management and quality control processes
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Completed apprenticeship or education in upscale gastronomy or hospitality
  • Several years of experience in the pastry field, with a proven track record of creativity and innovation
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
