We are seeking a skilled Senior Back-End Engineer to join our Product team and contribute to building innovative automation solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of work by freeing people from repetitive cognitive tasks.

**Your Mission:**

We're not just looking for a good candidate; we want to create a new category of automation that will revolutionize the way people work. To achieve this, we need someone who is passionate about shaping the future of work, has an outstanding CV, and can deliver exceptional results.

**Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance server-side code to handle diverse tasks, including gathering requirements, providing technical feasibility feedback, and working closely with the machine learning team to bring the power of AI to our product.
  • Perform code reviews and actively engage with the team's goal of maintaining clean and readable code, lean documentation, and ensuring code quality.
  • Develop a benchmarking system and scale the API to handle new traffic generated by customers.
  • Lead the development of the next generation of our Cognitive Skill Builder, allowing you to collaborate with the machine learning team.
  • Work together with the Machine Learning and Data Science team to enable customers to use the latest features added to AutoNLU directly in Studio.

**Requirements:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Python and Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Familiarity with relational/SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with software engineering fundamentals, including unit testing, CI/CD, integration testing, reliability, and reproducibility.
  • Cloud services (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure) and containers (Docker) experience is a plus.
  • Strong motivation to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers, while keeping the big picture in mind to proactively identify and solve issues.
  • Experience working within Agile environments.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
