University Research Assistant (PhD position)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill the position of University Research Assistant (PhD position) in the Geotechnical Section. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct research in geotechnics and natural hazards, hold their own lectures, tutor students, and participate in administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in geotechnics and natural hazards using the university's infrastructure
  • Hold own lectures (German spoken and written)
  • Tutor students
  • Participate in administration
  • Write a dissertation in geotechnics and natural hazards

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent research and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in German (spoken and written)
