Your Role

As an IT Systems Administrator at MeisterLabs Software GmbH, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure operates seamlessly. Your primary focus will be to provide the necessary IT resources for our team while prioritizing security measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Helpdesk Management: Oversee the IT helpdesk operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues faced by team members.
  • Network Administration: Manage and maintain the office network, including the installation and configuration of hardware, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Asset and License Tracking: Keep a detailed inventory of all IT assets and software licenses, ensuring compliance and efficient resource allocation.
  • Technology Research: Stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their potential integration into our systems to enhance productivity.
  • Operating Systems Management: Ensure that all operating systems, including macOS, Windows, and Linux, are updated and functioning correctly.
  • Mobile Device Management: Implement and manage MDM solutions across various platforms, ensuring device security and compliance.
  • IT Management: Utilize Google Workspace for user management, automating onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Scripting and Automation: Develop shell scripts and PowerShell/BAT scripts to automate routine IT tasks, improving efficiency.
  • Meeting Room Technology: Oversee the management of meeting room technology and maintain an inventory of hardware.
  • Security Compliance: Uphold and enhance security policies in alignment with industry standards, ensuring the organization's data integrity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the IT infrastructure and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years in IT administration or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing operating systems and networks, with a strong background in MDM.
  • Scripting Skills: Familiarity with scripting languages for task automation.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is a plus.
