Job Description

This role is part of the Network and Infrastructure Services (NIS) department, which designs, builds, and services IT solutions for various customer projects. As a Linux-focused system engineer, you will provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge and engineering services to internal and external customers.

Your responsibilities include solution design and system builds in collaboration with project Technical Solution Managers or Solution Architects, as well as operation, support, and maintenance of customer systems throughout their lifecycle.

Key Requirements
  • IT Generalist with experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise IT environments
  • Expertise in Linux, RHEL, and SELinux
  • Experience in security engineering and system hardening
  • Familiarity with industry cybersecurity standards such as CIS, NIST, and BSI
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions like Zabbix, OpenSearch, Wazuh, or similar open-source tools
  • Professional experience in at least two of the following areas: virtualization (VMware), public cloud (Azure, AWS), Kubernetes & Red Hat OpenShift
  • Scripting languages expertise (bash, python)
  • Automation tools proficiency (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools

This position comes with a competitive salary package, including the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 43,552.00 gross per year, plus market-based overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
