Automation Engineer Opportunity at ZF Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at ZF Group. As a key member of our Industrial Automation department, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of automation solutions for our global production network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation solutions using PLC and industrial IT applications
  • Collaborate with international acquisition and industrialization project teams to develop and commission assembly equipment controls
  • Provide hands-on support to global production plants with troubleshooting and optimization projects
  • Train employees in plants and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant experience
  • Proven experience in PLC logic and programming, preferably with Siemens TIA Portal and C# or C++
  • Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation/testing, and start-up
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills, hands-on mentality
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written
  • Ability/willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50%
